![]() Streets of Rogue features colorful, two-dimensional pixel art graphics. In Streets of Rogue you can play alone or with up to three players in a local or online cooperative mode. In addition, as we progress we get promoted to new levels of experience and gain useful perks that increase our capabilities. In addition to a wide range of white and firearms at our disposal can be found more unusual equipment such as explosives, traps or poisons. While there's nothing to stop you from rushing ahead and eliminating anyone who stands in your way, you can always look for alternative solutions and sneak behind the backs of your opponents, use your diplomatic skills or rely on the help of your allies. ![]() It is worth remembering that there is more than one way to solve each of them. Watching the action from a bird's eye view, we traverse procedurally generated levels and complete tasks that are the driving force of the game these include eliminating specific targets, freeing victims and searching for items. ![]() Which character we decide on at the beginning has an impact not only on skills, which we'll use during the game, but also on available equipment. With time, we unlock new specializations, such as vampire or zombie. We have at our disposal, among others, a soldier with excellent use of firearms, a bartender, whose eloquence allows him to survive even the biggest trouble or an intelligent gorilla making excellent use of his fists. Mechanicsīefore starting the game in Streets of Rogue we choose the character class that interests us. The other thing is that due to the fact that the metropolis seems to be alive and our actions have an impact not only on the attitude of the inhabitants towards our character, but also on the distribution of forces in it, we have to be constantly on guard not to hurt the wrong people. It won't be easy though, because it requires reaching the top of the world consisting of floors (among them we can find slums, an industrial district or a park) on which the protagonist must perform other tasks ordered by the rebels and the city's inhabitants. During the game we play as a member of the resistance movement, whose primary goal is to overthrow the tyrant. Streets of Rogue is set in a modern city, where lawlessness flourishes under the authoritarian rule of the new mayor. The title was developed by independent developer Matt Dabrowski and was published by tinyBuild. You aim in their direction and pray your spring loaded fist hits. After getting duly elected on a platform of promises of 'lower taxes' and 'more beer,' the Mayor went on to raise taxes and confiscate all the beer in the city for himself. However, under that pile of shit he does bring up a few points that I agree with. STREETS OF ROGUE puts players onto the mean streets and back alleys of a city in peril. Reading this review shows that he is a very offensive person, the review is full of unnecessary attacks towards developers. ![]() Streets of Rogue is an ambitious roguelike production that draws inspiration from games like Nuclear Throne, Deus Ex and Grand Theft Auto, among others. I love Streets of Rogue and have 240 hours on Steam. ![]()
